Nearly a decade ago, we discovered a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley. Enchanted by the terraced hillsides, century-old stone houses, and sweeping views of the Douro River, we knew this Quinta de Alvites was destined to be more than just a home! The property's legacy is as unique as its landscape. Since acquiring, we have restored some of its historic buildings and cultivated new vineyards, giving rise to the acclaimed Pires & Turner Escolha. Come stay and have a taste!
